EB Games has not listed online pre-orders for the current generation Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles for the better part of 2021, noting a severe shortage of the two consoles.
All of that changed this morning, with pre-orders for both being listed on the EB Games website. The lucky few should see their consoles arrive in early October.
Three hours after they went live, the listings for both consoles were gone. This continues the trend of console scarcity down under which looks set to continue into 2022.
Anyone hoping to get their new console before Christmas will likely go without. People willing to wait 8 weeks (at the time of writing this) might have some luck ordering the Xbox Series X through Telstra.
