The massive Orbital update for No Man’s Sky is finally here, and it’s a bit of a doozy! This update overhauls several items, including space stations, ships, and guilds.
Space stations used to be similar, but now they get a HUGE makeover. Each one has a unique external look, and the interiors are procedurally generated, too. This means there’s way more variety when you go exploring.
This is the biggie for me. You can now dismantle unwanted ships for parts and build your custom starship! Want a dinky little fighter with massive thrusters? Go for it! Those ships found in the wild still have a special bonus when traded in, so there’s still a reason to hunt them down.
Teaming up with guilds now has better perks. You’ll get free or discounted stuff depending on your rank within the guild. Drop off spare materials at the guild envoys you’ll find on space stations to build that rank quickly.
