343 Industries have dropped a development update via Video for August. While they covered plenty of details regarding the just past technical preview, fans will be disappointed to learn that Co-Op Campaign and Forge modes have been delayed.
Joseph Staten, 343’s Head of Creative, advised us of the delay, stating it was a decision based on quality and that the game is a live service platform.
Players should expect the Co-Op Campaign to launch at the start of Season 2, approximately 3 months after launch, and forge at the start of Season 3. Joseph also stated that seasons are expected to run for about three months a pop.
