At long last we’ve got our first look at the Halo Infinite Multiplayer, which has been announced as running at a crisp 120hz on Xbox Series X. To say the least the footage doesn’t disappoint me as a long time Halo fan.

The footage leaves me wanting for some true gameplay rather then a promotional highlights real, but it’s clear that there’s been return to a more “Halo” like experience. Halo 4 tried new and innovative things that got a mixed reception; while Halo 5, in my own opinion, struck a nice balance but felt very much designed for the pro-player crowd.

Bonnie Ross also stated that Halo Infinite’s multiplayer will be free to play, which is certain to prop up lobbies from day one.

A screen grab from the trailer.

Eagle eye fans may have spotted a nice little nod to our dearly departed SGT Johnson on one of the new Multiplayer maps.
